Boys are Going to Preschool (Spanish Emersion)

Well, now that we have a car, yesterday we visited a preschool (recommended by someone I met who's daughter also goes there) and today the boys started Spanish School!

This is so good for them because we haven't really met any kids to play with. When deciding to live in Potrero, part of that decision was because "locals" live here (wanted the emersion for the boys). What I didn't find out until we got here is its local ex-pats! Most of the people we have met are retired or older (kids are older or grown) and many are from Canada. Darn, I was kind hoping to have the boys make friends with the neighbor kids - well that's not going to happen!

So - off to school they go: half days, three days a week for the next six weeks. They came home so excited. They played, did circle time, sang songs they already knew (Days of the Week being one) but now in Spanish and did some seat work and art work. John told me it was a lot like school at home - "There was so much work and coloring to do!"
